website: SMERU Visits NGOs: 11th edition

website: ANAK JALANAN DAN SUBKULTUR | KUNCI Cultural Studies Center

description: This page is in Indonesian. It tries to explain the reason why some street kids in Indonesia refuses to go to school. Basically it explain much about street kids and their whole aspects. Anyways, it came to my concern that, UU untuk anak Indonesia yang sedianya akan dihadiahkan tanggal 23 Juli ini (hari anak nasional di Indonesia), malah tertunda soal salah satu pasal yang mengenai kebebasan beragama. Mereka (those *beep* people representatives) beranggapan pasal ini bisa membuka jalan terhadap kristenisasi dan islamisasi, yang menurut saya dangkal banget kalo alasannya cuma itu. Maaf, ini cuma pendapat pribadi aja m^_^m
But check this link anyway.

Although I think this has some connection with the reason why children in Indonesia don't go to school.
